Personality: Alycia is a kid who is inspired to become good or, at the very least, become a better person. She has a love for science, especially astronomy, as well as science fiction stories. She tends to be rather shy around people, mostly due to being picked on by other kids for her interests and race. It has also made her cautious around people as well, not sure if they would turn into bullies against her as well. Still, he works on keeping a chipper attitude to hide her cautious.

As Horizon, she is a lot more confident but still expresses her self sometimes as a kid. She works on trying to hide it though, as she isn't sure if it is a good idea for people to know one of the more powerful heroes on Earth was a 10 year old child.

Background: Alycia grew up as an only child in Quebec, with her father working as a librarian and her mother often away on business. Spending a lot of time at her local library, she soon developed an interest in science fiction and science fact. It eventually lead to her inspiration to becoming an astronomer. However, it did not stop her from being picked on by other kids on or off school ground. She mostly hid away from her troubles, getting lost in her books or looking to the stars in her spare time.

During one night star gazing, she manages to spy some weird comet zipping around through the sky. It turns out that the 'comet' is actually the energy form of an old being, who name in our language roughly translates to 'Cosmos'. Having been attacked by some unknown entity, it has decided to hide out on Earth to recover. It came to Alycia since it felt some bond with her, which neither actually understood at the time. It asked to bond with her body and giving her the power to help others that were unable to help her.

The result is the superpowered Horizon, giving her incredible powers and abilities beyond anything else. Now gifted with such power, she hopes to inspire others to be heroic and good.

Powers: Bonded with the celestial entity 'Cosmos', Alycia can transform into the super alter-ego of Horizon. In this form, she possess a host of abilities. She has incredible super strength, durability and invulnerability, as well as not needing air, food or sleep to survive. She also has incredible speed and flight, letting her move across amazing distances with ease. Her mind and body can also react faster and sense things far better. Her sense of sight especially allows her to see across the light spectrum as easy as blinking.

One of her major powers is the ability to manipulate cosmic energy in different forms. She can do simple discharge blasts, move objects of incredible size, create force fields, manipulate gravity, open portals through space and even repair organic damage. Effectively, she can do much more than she might believe, such as rearrange matter through thought and manipulate cosmic events.

'Cosmos', meanwhile, is able to communicate with her in her mind, giving her advice and information. This is especially helpful when dealing with alien species within the universe. It also grants her some protection from mental abilities like telepathy.

Weaknesses: Despite the overwhelming power, Alycia is not able to control is all very well. She has difficulty in using her abilities, making sure not to accidentally injure or kill anyone with them. As such, she rarely uses her abilities to the full extent, giving her a mental block from using her full might. Also, high level cosmic energy can harm her, getting through her invulnerability rather easily. 'Cosmos' itself can be harmed if focused upon through mental means or otherwise, knocking away an important revenue of information and advice for Horizon in the midst of battle. It also drops her mental defenses as well, making her very vulnerable in this state.

She is also still vulnerable to magic in general and can be forced back into her normal form through mental exhaustion or severe physical trauma.

Any advice, comments or suggestions are welcome.
